An unlikely Northwest dish that has been made unique by its use of chargrilled chicken, a sweeter teriyaki sauce, and mounds of rice. A dish that’s not just affordable, but ubiquitous – every neighborhood has its own shop. We're not here to mess with a good thing, but we do it our own way and we hope you like it.”

Quality Craftsmanship

“Matt Parker has spent his whole life in pursuit of elevating hospitality. A designer by trade with decades in the restaurant industry, he helped shape the Huxley Wallace restaurant brand as its creative director along with chef Josh Henderson. In the Summer of 2019 he seized upon an opportunity of Seattle's past: teriyaki chicken.

Transforming an old Pizza Hut into a mod inspired space, his vision to bring affordable and abundant food to his West Seattle neighborhood was finally realized in early 2020. Despite COVID-19's best efforts, Grillbird thrived in 2020 due to the neighborhood's overwhelming support. Our goal to bring quality and affordable food along with the best customer service sets us apart from all the rest.

The future is wide open for Grillbird as we continue to get better everyday. We can't wait to share what we do with you.”
